Neighborhood Spotlight: Fletcher Heights

Fletcher Heights is a modern Fulton Homes community built between 1998-2004, centered roughly at 81st Avenue and Rose Garden Lane, on the northwest corner of the Agua Fria (Loop 101) Freeway. Home sizes range from smaller three-bedroomFletcher Heights Community Signage ranch homes, to five-bedroom 4000 square-foot two-stories.

Residents enjoy a peaceful, Fletcher Heights Mapwell-kept family neighborhood governed by the Fletcher Heights Homeowner's Association. For recreational purposes, Fletcher Heights Park, Fletcher Heights Parkpublicly administered by the City of Peoria, boasts Picnic Ramadas, BBQ grills, lighted tennis and basketball courts, a shaded playground, restrooms, drinking fountain, and parking lot. Residents also enjoy walking or biking along the many pathways that meander through the neighborhood greenbelts, or on the nearby New River Trail system. Other recreational facilities close by, are the Challenger Space Center, and City-managed Sunrise Pool and Family Center. Just a few minutes' drive will find Fletcher Heights residents at the Peoria Sports Complex (where the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners come for Spring Training), or the new 52-acre Rio Vista Community Park, which has splashgrounds, batting cages, a skate park, baseball diamonds, BBQ pavilions, duck ponds, fishing, and much more. Fletcher heights is also within two miles of at least Fletcher Heights Fountainthree golf courses.

Fletcher Heights is also conveniently close to shopping and restaurants, with the Arrowhead Mall and Arrowhead Entertainment District just a few minutes away. Closer to home, Fletcher Heights Marketplace has a generous handful of retail shops, restaurants, and salons.

Fletcher Heights is within the highly-sought Peoria Unified School District. Elementary School Students may attend "A-Rated" Frontier, "Highly-Performing" Coyote Hills, or "Performing Plus" Apache Elementary Schools, depending on where within the community they live.
